Paul has 25 years of land surveying experience and a broad scope of responsibilities, including surveying management and analysis, preparation of legal descriptions, parcel/subdivision maps and coordination of field crews. He has also worked on a wide range of GIS projects, including G.P.S., topographic, boundary, A.L.T.A., aerial control design, construction, right of way, commercial, residential and public works projects. He has also worked as a party chief covering many aspects of surveying, including subdivision construction staking, high rise layout, topographical, aerial, hydrographic, GLO retracement and all types of boundary surveys.
As a business owner and a former Marine, Paul is a trouble-shooting expert that thrives when issued a problem to resolve–which is exactly why he’s known as one of Southern California’s best land surveyors. Paul’s business has been certified with the State of California as a Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE)
Robert Walker, Director of Surveying, California Number L.S. 7137
With 25 years of surveying experience, including the last eighteen as a surveyor licensed by the State of California, Rob has headed the surveying portion of thousands of projects. He has worked on a large variety of projects, from construction of bridges, highways, transmission lines, baseball stadiums and industrial parks to residential boundary surveys and lot line adjustments between neighbors. For more than 15 years, Rob worked as Director of Surveys of an engineering/surveying firm in Southern California, supervising up to four survey crews and six office support staff. More recently he established his own business performing surveys on Southern California Edison, City of Palmdale and Santa Clarita Water Division projects before joining the team at Paul Loska Land Surveying.
An avid gardener, bicyclist and lover of the arts, when Rob is not working you’ll find him tending his vegetable, flower and native plant gardens, pedaling against the fierce desert winds, enjoying an outdoor jazz festival with his wife of 29 years or relaxing with a book by authors from Tolstoy to Bukowski.
Dennis is a highly motivated and forward-thinking licensed land surveyor. He has a proven capacity to lead multiple teams towards successful completion of corporate initiatives and directives, while controlling the ability to meet heavy work assignments and deadlines under strict constraints.
He’s skilled at problem solving and conflict resolution, and able to help encourage sustainable teamwork. Dennis networks with private and public organizations and businesses to create successful partnerships, while possessing a unique ability to communicate and engage effectively on all levels.
Chad Hoss, Survey Party Chief
This former competitive bull rider was originally studying to be a geologist, but after taking one class in land surveying, he realized he’d found his true passion. In 1985, Chad began his career as a land surveyor. 27 years later, he is now a construction survey specialist, having worked on 45 bridges, Petco Park and more high rises and large complexes than he can count.
